Today (like every other day) I woke up next to my beautiful girlfriend. I am grateful for that. For having her. That is just something I wanted to mention. Now, the real subject...
Thursday, September 1- We have a bat in our apartment. I woke up sometime around six a.m. My girlfriend was up taking care of a nose bleed she was having. I watched her sitting on the side of the bed with toilet paper in her hands and I decided to go back to sleep when suddenly she tells me she hears thumping noises somewhere in the other room. A few hours ago we were watching a documentary on hunted houses and, to be honest, I got a bit shivery when she said she was hearing noises. She immediately tucked herself under the blankets. I asked her to hand me my phone (because it has a flashlight built in) and started to flash all over the room. It took a while before I saw anything and then, I saw it fly right above my head. I got up quickly and turned all the lights on. This scared it away and for the rest of the morning it didn't show itself again. It might not sound like a big deal because, well, bats are just flying mice. They don't bite or attack a person so there's really nothing to be worried about. But there's just something a flying hairy creature that just creeps me out. It doesn't seem natural, although, it is. By the way, this was the second one in the last two weeks.
